Okan Pala is a collaborative leader with over 15 years of experience in sustainability, strategic management, and social impact initiatives. Currently serving as Social Entrepreneurship Programs Manager at Kale Group of Companies, he leads comprehensive social entrepreneurship projects and impact management transformations.
With a strong academic foundation including a PhD in Management and Organisation Studies (on hold) from Sabancı University and an MA in Industrial Economics from University of East Anglia, Okan has published research on technology management and competition analysis. His career spans diverse roles from corporate consulting at Sabancı Holding to co-directing Özyeğin University’s Sustainability Platform, where he spearheaded groundbreaking sustainability initiatives and strategic partnerships with government bodies and international organizations.
A passionate advocate for rural development and disaster relief, Okan has led critical research and field operations following major earthquakes, reaching hundreds of villages and securing significant funding for ongoing projects. His expertise encompasses strategic leadership, sustainability expertise, stakeholder relationship management, and creative project execution. Beyond his professional achievements, he’s an active mentor, educator, and outdoor enthusiast with interests in open water swimming, motorcycling, and photography.
